Guru Ravidas Ayurved University is a UGC recognized public university situated in Hoshiarpur Jalandhar. This university was formed with the objective of prompting ayurveda and research & medical tourism in the fields of Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Sidha and Homoeopathy. This university is one among four universities in the state dedicated to similar cause. Presently GRAU affiliates 12 ayurvedic colleges and 04 homeopathic colleges in the state. This university offers Doctor of Medicine (in Homeopathy),Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) and Bachelors in Homeopathic Medicine & Surgery (BHMS) courses of study. Admission to BAHMS and BHMS programs at the university is done through Punjab Ayush Entrance Test (PAET) while admission to post graduate program is done through Post Graduate Ayurvedic Entrance test (PGAT). The university is contemplating the development of a new university campus.
PAET 2016 Result: Finally the Guru Ravidas Ayurved University, Punjab has convened the Punjab Ayush Entrance Test (PAET) 2016 for all those candidates who registered for this examination at the various examination centers in the state of Punjab.
