About Uttarakhand University of Horticulture and Forestry:
Hills cover major part of Uttarakhand State. About 65% of the total geographical area is under forest. For myriad reasons, agriculture in hill region of the State has been at subsistence level. However, horticulture and forestry are the two major sectors that hold enormous potential for sustainable growth. With a view to develop these sectors through scientific interventions, the State Government has established Uttarakhand University of Horticulture & Forestry (UUHF) by an Act of State Legislative Assembly [The Uttarakhand Krishi Evam Prodyogik Vishwavidhyalaya (Amendment) Act, 2011 {Uttarakhand Act No.13 of 2011}] dated 28th April, 2011 with Head Quarter at Bharsar,Pauri Garhwal. The Notification No. 732/XIII-II/2011-12(02)/2011, dated 26th September, 2011 has also been issued in this regard by the State Government. With the establishment of UUHF, various campuses, Colleges, Research Centres and KVKs viz., Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali College of Horticulture, Bharsar; Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Distt. Pauri Garhwal; College of Forestry & Hill Agriculture, Ranichauri; Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Distt. Tehri Garhwal; Research Centers at Kanatal and Gaja (Tehri Garhwal) of Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technology have been merged with UUHF.
UUHF UET 2016
UUHF also known as Uttarakhand University of Horticulture & Forestry released notification for admission in undergraduate and master degree program for year 2016. Admission to undergraduate and master degree program of UUHF for non sponsored candidate is through university entrance test (UET) 2016.
Upper Age limit for admission to all Undergraduate programmes shall be 23 years for General and OBC categories. For SC/ST/PH categories, five years relaxation in upper limit will be given. The age shall be counted as on 30-06-2016. The High School Certificate or equivalent examination certificate shall be considered as a valid document for age proof. The upper age limit shall not be applicable in case of Uttarakhand Govt. In-service candidates/ Foreign Nationals/ Wards of NRIs. UUHF UET-2016 APPLICATION PROCEDURE
The Application Form and Prospectus for admission to a degree programme of UUHF can be obtained by post from the Coordinator Admissions, Uttarakhand University of Horticulture & Forestry, College of Forestry, Ranichauri (Tehri Garhwal) – 249 199 by sending a Demand Draft of Rs. 450/- drawn in favour of Coordinator Admissions, UUHF payable at Punjab National Bank, New Tehri (Branch Code – 3302) along with a request letter giving choice for sending the Prospectus through either Registered Post or Speed Post.
The Application Form and Prospectus for admission to a degree programme of UUHF can also be obtained on cash payment at the Designated Sale Counters by depositing Rs. 350/-. The details of sale counters shall be displayed through University Website:

Admit Cards for the Entrance Test will be despatched by registered post at the mailing address given in the OMR application by the candidates. Candidates who fail to receive the ADMIT CARD may contact the Coordinator Admissions, VCSG Uttarakhand University of Horticulture and Forestry, College of Forestry, Ranichauri – 249199, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand.
In case a candidate has not received the Admit Card or has lost it, a duplicate Admit Card can be obtained from the Superintendent of the Entrance Test at the Centre of his/her examination after depositing a sum of Rs. 20.00 and a copy of passport size photograph similar to that pasted on the verification form.
