UPESEAT 2016 Eligibility Criteria:
1. Admission through UPESEAT 2016 (80% seats)
Candidates need to have passed in 10+2 from a recognized board with at least 60% of total marks
The candidate must have obtained an aggregate of at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
2. Admission through Board Merit/JEE (20% seats)
1. Board Merit:
Candidates should have passed in 10+2 from a recognized board with at least 80% marks
Candidates need to have obtained an aggregate of at least 80% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
2. JEE Main 2016:
Candidates need to have passed in 10+2 from a recognized board with at least 60% of total marks
Candidates need to have passed in 10+2 from a recognized board with an aggregate of at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
Candidates' JEE Main 2016 Score must be 105 (JEE Main 2016 Cutoff) or above
Age Limit: The candidates must be born on or after October, 1993
UPESEAT 2016 Selection Procedure:
The selection procedure is based on score of the candidate in UPESEAT 2016 followed by central counselling or Centralized Counseling through Merit rank for Non Exam Category.
University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun has declared the exam dates for its UPES Engineering Aptitude Test (UPESEAT), which will be conducted in May 2016.
As per the Notification, the UPESEAT will be held on , 2016.
UPESEAT conducts admission test every year for admission to Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) offered in various specializations, Bachelor of Planning (B.Plan), Bachelor of Design (B.Des) and B.Tech+LL.B honors .
Eligibility Criteria for UPESEAT 2016:
For B.Tech Programs: Candidates should have 60% marks at higher & senior secondary level (10th & 12th).
Candidates with minimum 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics at senior secondary level (12th) can also apply.
For B.Des Programs: Candidates should have minimum 50% marks at higher & senior secondary level (10th and 12th) and minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & mathematics at senior secondary level (12th).
The entrance test will consist of five different sections with a total of 200 questions. 50 questions each will be asked from Physics, Maths and Chemistry, while 30 and 20 questions from English Language and Current Affairs.
UPESEAT is aptitude test conducted by University of Petroleum & Energy Studies for admissions to the engineering programmes at the university. Candidates may apply online or offine for UPESEAT 2016.
