Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU or previously known as Kota Open University, renamed through a Gazette notification by the Government of Rajasthan on 21st September 2002) came into being in 1987 as a pioneering institution for open learning in Rajasthan. The idea of establishing an Open University in the State of Rajasthan has its origin in the observations of the UGC Committee under the Chairmanship of Late Prof. G. Rama Reddy which observed that “the distance system in Rajasthan is well established and has the potential of growing into a full-fledged Open University.” The establishment of VMOU (Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University) took place with the amalgamation of two institutes of correspondences courses viz. VMOU Result 2016– The Vardhman Mahaveer Open University has declared the result of Master of Business Administrator, on 17 November 2016, under VMOU Result 2016. The Examination for the said course was held in June 2016. The 8th Result List after Revaluation is available in PDF format. To view the list and know the result, the candidates are required to download the list. The VMOU Result list will contain the Candidate’s Program Name, School Number, Name, Paper Code and Calculated Final Marks II.
The candidates who have appeared for the Final Examination between December 2011 to December 2012 can apply for the Verification of Degree. On clicking the link, the candidates will be directed to the Degree Verification Page. The candidates are required to enter their Serial Number and Scholar Number and click on Verify Degree.
On clicking on the Term End Result link, the candidates will be directed to the Term End Result Page of Vardhman Mahaveer Open University. About the University:
In the year 1987, the Kota Open University was established under the Legislative Assembly Act of Rajasthan, 1987. Earlier, the University was known as Kota Open University. The University aims in giving education to the students who are unable to take out time for a regular institution. Till date, the University offers 80 Academic Programmes and in the year 2007, nearly 35000 students took admission in the University.
